Feminist Even On A Sunday

Hey Bombshells,

As fashionistas continue to dress up basic T-shirts, this has been a fashion trend I’ve been wanting to try for some time. Instead of a quirky phrase, I thought I’d wear a statement shirt. I finally styled one the way I wanted to and thought church would be the perfect place to wear it. Paired with a bold color, my “we should all be feminists” tee complimented this outfit in such a casual way.

I wanted to make a statement without speaking but I found myself explaining to men and children why we still live in an unequal world. My female friends rolled their eyes after reading my shirt while others called me bold for being a feminist “even on a Sunday”.

Don’t be afraid to make a statement with your fashion choices; I sure didn’t.
