Hey Bombshells,
As the trees become bare, the weather gets colder, and the days become shorter it’s time to say goodbye to fall. To make the seasonal change more fashionable, I find comfort in the winter essential, trench coats. Traditionally, this is a pivotal time of the year where we start adding heavier winter pieces into our fall rotation. We begin by swapping out warm fall tones for neutrals. Then, we gradually start mixing more weather resistant pieces like long coats, scarves, booties, and well…pants into your wardrobe. I always throw on a long blazer or trench coat to add sophistication into my winter looks.
After nine months in quarantine, I am still trying to get more wear out of my summer clothing. This look features a gray long sleeves top and skirt set from H&M. A Zara trench coat was added as a winter bonus. To build a bit more on this simple look, I added statement earrings and snake print sandals. The beauty of fashion is that there are no set rules. If you are stubborn like I am, you will figure out ways to incorporate any attire on your fashion heart into a piece that can endure even the harshest weather. The skirt on this look serves as an ode to the summer while the long coat is a welcome gift to winter weather.
