A Kiss of Cocoa

Hello Bombshells,

There’s an old rule that black people should not wear the color brown. As with most rules, this notion was meant to be broken. Historically, this color has been absent in the fashion world, but in recent times I’ve noticed a shift. The beauty of fashion is that old shades, recycled hues, and timeless prints will always come back in style. Your duty as a fashionista is not only to dress for the moment but yourself. You can style bold colors, mix and match neutrals, or warm your skin in your natural shade. In the end, you decide what looks good on your skin and body.

I have mastered what looks good on my body, but I’m in the experimental phase of what complements my skin. From chocolate brown to caramel, my mahogany dream is dipped in chocolate. My fashion thesis is that brown hues on a black girl equal magic, as I have discovered that a kiss of cocoa brings almond joy to the fashion heart. Say hello to deep browns, chocolate hues, and aromatic cinnamon in its glory. Feed your sweet tooth in an ideal style that warms your skin tone. Mine is rooted in coco butter and sealed with a Hershey’s kiss.
