As my obsession with off-the-shoulder tops grows so does the cold Ohio weather. Being the free-spirit I am, as soon as it got a little bit of warmer I went all out. I wore this top I came across the end of summer break. I randomly walked into Hollister and this beauty was there. I’m not sure what it is, if it’s the tribal pattern or the colors it’s made out of but I love it on my skin tone. Plus, it’s perfect for my energy; I wore this chill outfit to go daydrinking at school.

I walked passed this artwork last year and as the store owner put it, “It spoke to me”. By the time I went back to buy it, it was gone and the owner had no way of tracing it. Last month, I was feeling very optimistic and went crazy looking for it online and thank God I actually found it. I thought I’ll share it to all my other free spirits. This beauty is called Little Bird by Alex Cherry. Growing up I’ve always been a calm girl who tried satisfy everybody. I slipped a couple of times and acted out but when I started college I was this painting. I tried to cage the free spirit in my head but LET ME TELL YALL … .haha I have been acting up! This is the time of my life when I can be free, independent, and completely insane. I can’t remember the last time I’ve wore a bra or asked my parents permission to do anything. I’ve been traveling and making future plans for myself. I hope all my other free spirits see this and breathe, let their hair down, and live a carefree life. Life is short and there’s so much to do and so many places to go that you can’t enjoy it if you’re worried about other people.
Love me, but let me be wild.
